She is also the founder of TuitNutrition.com—a nutrition blog and health coaching website. Her areas of interest include using low carb and ketogenic diets as nutritional therapies for diabetes (both type 2 and type 1), obesity, PCOS, migraines, acid reflux/GERD, cardiovascular disease, and neurological and neurodegenerative disorders (such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy).

Brian and Amy talk about solving thyroid problems, treating depression with diet, getting past weight-loss stalls, stress eating and other emotional factors that cause people to eat more. They also discuss the great value of getting enough quality sleep, why it is not advisable to overemphasize diet to the detriment of mental or emotional health, finding an effective balance between restriction and liberality with your diet, discovering the root cause of your poor eating habits, and making realistic goals.
